"Buddha was meditating, Elephants were playing...and then the ship arrived" * oil on two canvases. 100 x 40 inches. Buddha symbolizes the civilization on Earth before the Fall (enlightened state of coexistence with the rest of living forms before the current ego-dominated and destructive mindset took hold of human minds), playing elephants symbolizes the joy of living. The ship represents the arrival of colons, bringing the end of joy and peak of slave-society where profit stands above all and "competition" puts majority deeper in the poverty and few chosen ones with too much power and wealth- the greed and aggressiveness of parasitical nature of ego, which we sadly mistake for who we are. We are light, we are love. We are not our egos and unless we recognize its existence as a virus in our head and shine the light of awareness on it, we will bring this planet to extinction (or at least our species). Be the light, be the change you want to see in the world. Namaste!
